Comic book stores have a big, big image problem. They need to put comics that are for non-fans in the front of the store. Their regular customers are hardcore. They’re not going to be put off by a Tintin display at the front of the store. They’re not going to stop coming in for their weekly comics because of that. The new customers are going to see a big Batman display and think “this isn’t the store for me”.
